The year 2016 in GBUR, wasn’t marked by any so called “big event” such as national conference or other, yet God continued to sustain His ministry in more critical times. 2016 was a year of establishing new leadership in almost all aspect of GBUR ministry.
In the beginning, a general assembly elected a new board council also known as National Executive committee (NEC) and this committee’s number one job was to find a new General secretary (GS); Because, after the resignation of the GS previously commissioned Mrs. Alice MUGENI, Mr. MABASI Albert who have been acting as GS had now been elected the chairman of NEC.
It happened on the 15th October, we had a leadership training for extended committee. Extended committee is when cell leaders, cell coordinators and other different leaders in GBU (choir leaders, etc.) are added to the executive committee.
